my car is boke.

I'm taking my vert in tomorrow for an out-patient procedure to have the u-joints replaced. I wish that i had the funds to but a alum. DS but alas i am boke too.:bang: and i want the car running before the weekend.

no i can dive my ca, it just makes a clunking sound when i go from evese to dive. that coupled with the vibation and a dagin feel leeds me to belive the u-joints ae shot. it goes to the ca docto tomoow

Are you the slightest bit mechanically inclined? U-Joints are extremely simple and unless your getting them replaced for next to nothing, i recommend that you attempt this yourself. All you need is a vise, large hammer and needle nose pliers. wait, i forgot. 12 point 12 mm socket 6'' extension and a ratchet for the flange bolts. Seriously simple. if you have questions post them up. I'll walk you through it. pm me your phone number if thats easier for you, i'll talk you through them if thats what you want.

Thanks for the offer but i dont have a floor jack, jack stands (both are on my Christmas list) or the time to do it. But i may take you up on that offer in the future!

yep i use to get a poping from the underneath when i pulled from a stop but now the only time it pops is w.o.t. and thats very little. no clunking or any other foolishness.
now its time to start over with the saveing for the FPR and new intake gaskets.

I used to get a poppin sound from a start..turned out the driveshaft bolts were walkin themselve's out!

Yeah...scared the hell outta me! I put a tube of thread locker on em and tightened them down real good! It was a PITA to break em loose when I did the clutch but I did break 'em loose!
