Seafoam?
anyone ever use this stuff in the fuel system or in their oil? A buddy of mine recomended that i try it in my fuel system to try and cure some hesitation and backfire ish. that ive been having. did it and drove around town for about 10 min or so and so far so good.
Was thinking about putting it in the oil a week or so before i change the oil next.

not in the oil. i clean the intake and valves with seafoam. i run it though the pcv system, but the key is to get in through the throttle body. Drop a can into the fuel tank, just before you fill it up. run the tank almost empty before you refill.
Seafoam might be the greatest invention ever. Its that awesome! |

I just ran it through the pcv system on my car....and then ran Lucas injector cleaner in the tank....I didn't notice much of an improvement though so I don't think it got done right, it was also my first time.

pull the vacuum line off your brake booster, feed the whole can into the intake, let the engine die, or shut if off if it doesnt. let the motor sit for 20 minutes while not running. Start the engine up and let it idle for about 5 minutes and then take the car out for an easy drive. Beware the white smoke coming out of the tailpipe will look bad, but thats normal.
