mufflers

Ok, im thinking that maybe the tingin thats coming from under my car might be a flowmaster fixin to puke up what ever is in them. And if its not then its a good reason to try a new cat back.
I really like the way my flows sound but want something thats going to last more than 6 or 7 years. I hear good things about magnaflows but ive never heard them in person, same with borla and im not really wanting to drop that kinda coin on a set that ive never heard. any of you guys have some input?

I personally love my Super 44 Flows...but I really like the way the Borla Stingers sound. That's just my .02 though...and it don't mean crap.

Coming from a guy here who has done lots of exhaust systems in mustangs. iv come to find out best bang for the buck is magnaflows. Bassani is a high quality stuff but paying a little more for it. everything iv ever touched of flowmaster or have installed for people has been JUNK. it all falls apart and it all fits like shit from the factory. for a little more you can get magnaflows that are 100% better and fit alot better and nice stainless and they have really nice tips if u chose to use any. nothing fits like bassani stuff. nothing. its perfect. every piece iv used. its amazing and has a lifetime warenty. SLP is also great stuff but your gonna have to pay out the ass for the name. Have had good luck with BBK stuff also for mid pipes and headers. if you go with magnaflows do not go with magnapack system. you will be replacing it in a few years.

this will be the third time in about twelve years that i had to replace my exhaust. The first time i put a flowmaster cat back on it. It rotted out and my ex put some flowmaster with dumps on it. I actually like the way it sounds, just wish it had the tailpipes on them. but now i think that they are on their way south and I might be looking a having to put a new cat back on it. Problem I'm running into is the sound on most video clips is crap and living in a small town theres not much to go on.
I am thinking magnaflow, but to me, from what Ive heard on the net, magnaflows sound like an old truck with a set of glass packs. are they rumbley or raspy or what?

I use to have magnaflows till i partied with darrell bassani and the bassani babes in STL one weekend. People really loved them. the magnapacks are a fancy glass pack. but they do have other good mufflers. They are a low cost way to get into good stainless. Im running a street comp with turn downs on my car. ANY little change in exhaust will change sound. just by changing the angel of my turn downs my car gets deeper toned. or has more rasp. using the same set up but with tailpipes was way different. its really hard to go by exhaust clips online because of cheap auido recording and how they record it. Also all depends on mid pipe X or H cats or no cats. What headers. Lots of different combos. one of the best iv ever herd on a 5.0 is BBK long tubes to BBK offroad X threw Dynomax race bullets out the side by rear tires. Sounded like a full blowen race car with a stock 302 with a little cam.
