Hey, welcome back, Scott! Glad to see someone else returned to OPC! That coupe is still gorgeous...
What's the story with the fastback? I don't remember you having that before? Looks like it's in the process of a restoration. Going for the stock effect, or restomod?

Thanks fella's,
The 67' is the latest project car. Its getting the full pro-touring treatment. TCI Mustang II style front end (no shock towers) and tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, IDIDIT tilt column, 2008 Mustang GT dash (the whole thing complete with Dakota Digital VHX gauges), 08 GT leather seats, steel head-liner, 9" rear, TCI torque arm with coil overs on all four, Wilwood 6 piston up front, 4 piston out back, custom fabbed firewall, 4.6L DOHC Aluminator crate motor with built auto trans, the body has lots of mods as well. All four vents have been welded shut and the drip rails, door handles and locks have been shaved. Ended up getting rid of the Shelby tail light panel in favor of a stock 67' panel. I welded in a full floor pan, sub frame supports, toe boards and a torque box on the passenger side. Purchased a set of "one-piece" windows as well. Say good-bye to the little wing windows. The pillar pads have been deleted and will be replaced by sheet metal and there will be no bright work of any kind. The front and rear glass will be just like a street rod. You'll see the glass and where it meets the paint and thats all. No rubber or brightwork will be seen except where the side glass meets the top of the car. I'll try and get more pics up with all the mods as the project continues. |
