next step for our 01

Ok, the "wifes" car, our 01 gt, has a mid pipe cat back and a CAI on it and im trying to figure out what to do next. I dont think that a tuner is a good choice on a stock engine, ive heard too many "my water pump/alt went out" stories about the 4.6 and underdrives, ive been thinking about sneeking on some springs when i do some shocks and struts, but not really sure what i want to do. what do you guys think

Supercharger. Look on Corral for a used kit and you can probably find one close to a grand for a 4.6 GT. I'm not sure what your budget is, but that's one of the best bang for the buck mods on a new edge.

As much as id love to toss some boost on it i dont think she's going to go for that. gotta keep the mods simple, thats why im thinking about going the suspension route, unless you know of a engine mod that would be worth wild.
is the upper plenum/TB worth swapping out?

gears are also out, she said not on her car. No boost and no gears, dont really want me to lower it but i think i can sneak a one inch drop on it and she wouldn't notice. sitting next to my 88 vert with the steeda sport springs and her car looks like a 4x4!
I really like the steeda aluminum LCA's on my fox and they are the same setup for the 94-04 so i might do a more street oriented suspension setup on it. LCA's steeda or bullitt springs and new shocks and struts.
I was wondering if the intakes are worth the time and trouble. there was a guy at the track a few months ago that had the BBK upper with a TB and was only running a tenth or so faster than me.
Tires should probably also be on the list, car dont have sub frames on it yet but its not going to get driven hard enough to really need them yet.

stopped by last night and the top is painted as is some of the jambs. He works by himself and has some wrecks coming in and is filling in with our car. Fine with me as we're not in a hurry for it.

You'll have to take it over from the wife temporarily, while yours is out of commission.

Looks like it turned out great! Silver is supposed to be a hard color to lay down because of the possibility of ending up with stripes, as each pass overlaps the previous. I'm not sure how I feel about the stripes, but that's definitely got some shine to it!

That definitely turned out great! I can't tell, but is the black metallic, too? It kinda looks like it in the last pic.
