Think i might have found my problem

Ive been getting a backfire and sluggishness off the line that magically goes away after a little bit. well, i pulled the vacuum line off the FPR and it smelled of fuel so tonight I did my first FPR and hopefully my last. Didn't take that long, just dont really care to do it again.

Pray for no leaks. Took it for a drive and it ran better than it has in a while and there were not any leaks, keep yer fingers crossed, I hate working on fuel systems.

Ok, now i think ive got the problem lined out. looks like it might have been a combonation of a couple of things. The cooling system wasn't working right and the car was running way hot, added the air diverter and a new clutch and fan and cooling sys is keeping things in the 180 range, maybe a little cooler.
Also my warm idle was around 600 -625 rpm warm. when I unplugged the IAC the car would die, could not hold a warm idle on its own. I reset the idle to about 650-700 and that took care of a large amount of the problem. Im guessing that it had something to do with the TPS and the low idle and the fuel curve off of idle. anyway ive drove it for a couple of weeks and its been darn near perfect. I'm fixinta (yep thats a word here in So. IL.) put her up for the winter but ill give her a hard shake down next sunny, warm day i get.
