FYI about flush mount glass kits
Received this email about flush mount glass kits for my 67 fastback. These kits area amazing. Check out the link below. Compare these kits to plexiglass kits and the choice is clear. I like modified Mustangs and doing away with the stainless steel around the glass is plus for me.
![]() Scott... I just thought I would inform you that we are now starting to process our first Stock Order for the Mustang Fast Back Glass Flush Mount Glass kits. As we have with our previous lines, we are offer anyone on the waiting list, a discounted early order. There is a savings of 500 dollars for the early order, providing you send us pictures and feedback. Our normal price on these kits are 1999 Dollars plush shipping, but at the discounted 1st stock order price, it is 1500 Dollars plus shipping. The delay on the Glass kit was due to us trying to figure out a weatherstrip solution for the front windshield upper corners.. Ford has made it very difficult at the top corners of the windshield, because of the moulding relief they have made into the body. So due to the weatherstrip not looking right at all, no matter how we had tried to make it, we will offer these kits in two ways.. A complete kit (Windshield/Back Glass), which will require a bit of easy body work to fill in the relief. This actually looks better than the sqaured off corners of the factory bulky rubber.. The 2nd Option is, to purchase only the rear glass, which needs nothing at all, other than to glue in. The complete kit will be the price above, and the back glass only kit will be 1000 dollars plus shipping. There is an 8 to 12 week waiting period for the kits to be ready to ship out, and these orders are Pre-Pay. I would like to make sure we have everyone covered with our stock order when it is processed, so this has been the best practice for us in past releases. We normally just do a small stock order to begin, so if the interest is high when they are released, a few are normally left behind till the next order. Feedback and Pictures are very important to us, especially at the beginning of a new product run, so that is the reason for the 500 dollar discount and the agreement to supply the requested info. If you have any question at all, please feel free to Email me or give me a call anytime. Thanks Robert Jackson Classic Auto Glass Innovations 580-263-0454 classicautoglassinnovations.com |

I wonder how it would look without the trim around the window. I could see it being one of those subtle things where you can't quite put your thumb on what's different about the car. I'm used to seeing them with the trim, so it might not look right to me. I guess I'd need to see the car without the trim to know what looks best.

I've seen Camaro's that are like that and its like your saying. Very subtle.. Most are just painting their brightwork to match the car. I deleted my wing windows and surface mount windshield and back glass just bring the theme full circle, IMHO.
