fox only magazine - Original Pony Car

any of you guys subscribe yet? Ill probably pick it up when it hits the newsstand.
I had talked to the editor about possibly doing a story on a local 79 capri vert and an 88 McClarin...

I'm going to pass on it. Foxes are past their prime, as far as popularity goes. I'd still like to have another one, but after a while, how many 2.5" cowl hood, Cobra ground effects, 5 lug with Cobra brakes, and 03 Cobra wheels Mustangs can you possibly look at? I used to subscribe to MM&FF and 5.0 & Super Fords (and remember 5.0 & Super Fords were separate magazines), but they're all ads now. After that and the fact that they would show nothing, but S197's anymore, it left a sour taste in my mouth with the magazines.

they say the goal is to keep it to attainable cars, Im just wondering how long they will print when people get tired of reading about bone stock cars or slightly modded cars. If they add in some other fox cars (Capri, t-bird, ect) then it might work. mix that in with a little history about some of the various things fox like steeda and saleen, it might catch some traction.

It might be worth a read if they can do some average run of the mill cars, and also the wild combos that none of us will ever afford unless we win the lottery. Stuff like the plan I have of possibly putting a 4.6 3V from an 05-10 into my 95, or Terminator swaps into Foxes, or big block swaps. It has to be different, or it's no different than 5.0 or MM&FF were when they were still popular. Maybe a couple SVO's and Thunderbird Turbo Coupes would entice a few readers?
