legend lime metallic

If you happen to run across an 05-06 Legend lime metallic GT w/ Black leather interior and auto trans, let me know. We may go for a vert, but it must have a black top, not the tan with tan interior. They seem to be pretty rare, and thats what the wife and i want next. The wife will have her Equinox paid off pretty soon, like 4 months. The search is on!

Its one of those colors that you either love it or hate it. I don't think any of my close car buddys even like it, but Les and i Love it! It seems that two black racing stripes and dark tinted windows are necessary to make this car pop though.

Been a couple of times.... SOB! I don't personally care for it, but my wife bought it before we were married. I really didn't have any say in the matter. it was in to the dealership for front wheel bearings two times and once for the oil pan bolts coming loose and getting hung up behind the torque convertor/ flywheel. That made some nasty noise. I thought maybe it was the motor at first. Other than that, not really any other problems.

I'm the one who wants an auto Evan. I've already got the 6 speed with retarded gears if i want to shift manually. I want a it to be a cruiser. thinking heads cam intake exhaust small shot. Nothing major, just shooting for maybe a 400 whp car.

Hopefully we can get one here this spring. IF that doesnt work, the wife also likes the new solstices. They are too expensive for me, so maybe i can talk her into a miata. Then do a v8 conversion...

use to know a guy that had a Saturn vue red line. thing ran alright, not that it would hang with the S10 or anything. lots of the solstices running around here, seems like the used market would be good for them.

Luke for the love of pete do not let her get a Solstice! Absolute disgrace of Pontiac manufacturing! There isn't even the slightest amount of room to work on them. I would definitely try talkin her into the Miata.

As for the Red Line...Luke will know exactly who I'm talkin about, there is a guy we used run with that has a fairly quick one. Personally not my kinda car but that's just my opinion.

I'm not going with a redline. I had a few ideas and ran the numbers.

What i really want is a focus hatch with 2 valve 4.6 conversion. with buying the car, adding the suspension and k member, i couldn't see building it for any less than 10k. Thats not a budget build IMO.

Second thought is Miata with SBF conversion. Was thinking about doing a 347 aluminum motor. That one could be build for around 8k if i ran the numbers correctly.

If i could run into a higher mileage 05-06 LL auto. That still might be the hot ticket.

The 2v Focus would be super nice but as you said..expensive. But what if you bought one with a crapped out motor? Then you'd spend most of the money on the conversion pieces?

Found ya a LL...but it's not high mileaged though.
